Mind/Body/Spirit-It is a well established fact that there is an integral relationship between the body; the mind and the spirit. Studies demonstrate that every thought that we have induces a chemical reaction in our body. Positive thoughts will induce endorphins which are neurotransmitters that elicit a feeling of well being. Negative thoughts will induce cortisol which is a stress hormone that depletes the immune system In addition to the aphorism, "We are what we eat"; the aphorism, "We are what we think" could not hold more truth.
In this section, we will offer thoughts to meander; affirmations to strengthen and encourage you to integrate these into your own mind/body/spirit practice.
WOW-Words of Wisdom:
Mind: We see things not as they are but as we are.
Body: Everything that we think, do and eat counts. It's only when we truly believe this that we can make a change.
Spirit: Gratitude is its own energy field. When you acknowledge and are grateful for whatever you have, it allows more to be drawn to you and changes the way that you experience life. Grace is transformative. The more grateful you are, the more grace mirrors the gratitude that you have.
